I specialize in Meridian Therapy (JMT), a rare style of Acupuncture originating in Japan. JMT makes use of several unique tools and techniques that greatly reduce the number of needles used. On average, I only use 3-5 needles per treatment!. Patients find my techniques both comfortable and effective. In cases of extreme needle phobia, most treatments can still be done with no needles at all.

I perform Zen Shiatsu treatments in the traditional manner using a futon on the floor. Patients recieve meditative stretching and still pressure along the 12 Meridians of the body. The effect is deep relaxation, increased flexibility and optimized use of the body’s resources. When appropriate, I sometimes will incorporate magnets and moxibustion into the session as well.

Shoni Shin is a gentle and comfortable pediatric treatment.
It is technically not acupuncture because there are no needles involved. However, the same health benefits can be expected. Children respond very quickly to the enjoyable treatment and often fall asleep during or shortly after.

Using advanced pulse diagnosis and meditation techniques, your 5 Element pattern can be identified and balanced. Supplemental homework is often recommended, including meditation, moxibustion and magnets.

We may need a full hour if it is your first herb consult with me or if it has been several months since the last one. This does not include the cost of herbs. After the consult it will be your responsibility to obtain and prepare the herbs.

Cancelation Policy: Please give 24-hour notice if you will be unable to attend your scheduled appointment.
If you were unable to give notice and would like to pay for all or part of a missed appointment, please click the equity donation button below and choose an amount of your choice. Donations help subsidize treatments for those who can’t afford full price.
