Come take an informal herb walk in the washes and foothills of the Tucson Valley. I will point out some of my favorite medicinal herbs and share stories about how and when I use them. Participants should be ready for moderate to slightly strenuous hiking and weather that may be sunny or rainy with highs in the 80-90s. Hiking boots, snacks and water are recommended.

The use of topical herbs is a valuable adjunct to any body-based therapy. A variety of musculoskeletal injuries, skin and nervous system problems can benefit from the right herbal application. Topical herb use is common within martial arts and bodywork circles. Many herbs used in this fashion have unique properties that are not always apparent from their typical internal usage.

Healing with Consent will explore the energy dynamics of consent in healing work in a 2-hour live Zoom that takes place at 5pm (MST) on January 20th.

In the context of healing work, consent has more energetic subtleties than how it is known in mainstream or legal use.
